1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of activatedeals.com (the "Site"), operated by ActivateDeals ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting or using the Site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What ActivateDeals is

ActivateDeals is an independent publisher of deal listings, discount codes, price information and related editorial content. We are an information and referral service only.

• We do not sell, supply, ship or stock any product or service listed on the Site.
• We do not process payments and never handle your card or banking details.
• We are not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer.
• We are not an agent of, affiliated with, or endorsed by any retailer or brand we mention, unless expressly stated.

Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, governed by their terms, their returns policy and their consumer-law obligations.

3. Deal accuracy and availability

We check offers before publishing them, but the deals market moves fast. Prices, discount codes, stock levels, delivery charges and promotional terms can change or be withdrawn by a retailer at any moment and without notice.

Everything on the Site is provided for general information and is accurate only as at the time of publication. It is your responsibility to verify the current price, terms and conditions on the retailer's own website before completing a purchase. We are not liable for expired codes, price changes, out-of-stock items, typographical errors, or offers that turn out to be unavailable in your region.

4. Affiliate disclosure

ActivateDeals participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or an affiliate network.

• It never costs you more. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the retailer directly.
• It doesn't decide what we feature. Editorial selection is based on how good the offer is, not on commission rates. We regularly link to retailers we earn nothing from.
• We don't accept paid placement. Brands cannot buy a spot in our round-ups.
• Commission is paid by the retailer, not by you, and typically as a small percentage of a completed order.

Where required, we mark commercial relationships clearly. This disclosure is made in the spirit of the guidance issued by consumer protection regulators, including the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines and equivalent rules elsewhere.

5. Third-party sites and retailers

The Site contains links to third-party websites. We provide those links for convenience and do not control, endorse or take responsibility for the content, products, pricing, security or privacy practices of any third-party site. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose
• Scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically copy our content without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or related systems
• Introduce malware, or interfere with the Site's normal operation or availability
• Misrepresent yourself as ActivateDeals or as affiliated with us
• Use automated tools to place excessive load on the Site

We may restrict or terminate access for anyone who breaches these terms.

7. User submissions

If you send us a deal tip, correction, comment or other material, you confirm it is yours to share and does not infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit and publish that material on the Site and in our communications. We are under no obligation to publish anything submitted, and we may edit or remove it at our discretion.

8. Intellectual property

The Site's design, layout, text, graphics, logos and code are owned by ActivateDeals or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, redistribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

Retailer names, brand names, product images and trademarks referenced on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

9. Newsletter and alerts

Subscribing to deal alerts is voluntary. We send only the content you signed up for, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or rent subscriber addresses. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that any deal listing is currently valid, or that any product will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ActivateDeals and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or your reliance on any content, including any expired offer, incorrect price or failed discount code.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights against the retailer you purchase from are unaffected.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ActivateDeals from any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

13. Availability and changes to the site

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including removing content or features, without notice or liability. We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which ActivateDeals is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

15. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The "last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
